Franco Manca Liverpool

I've eaten in Franco Manca in Leeds and was looking forward to the Liverpool branch opening. Unfortunately as a coeliac it does limit options. However Franco Manca have excellent gluten free pizza bases. However and I must make this very clear they do not claim to be a gluten free establishment. And they cannot guarantee that cross contamination will occur despite the best efforts of staff. This is understandable given they have one oven. And flour flying everywhere. The staff were very understanding, helpful and patient with all my questions and the person serving me checked things for me and even showed me that my choice was listed as gluten free. Of course again it cannot be guaranteed it is. I accepted that and was happy to eat there. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Just the right thickness whether it be a gluten free base or a Muggle base. I can definitely recommend it if you like pizza. however if you have coeliac disease it may not be a good choice owing to the risk of cross contamination. That is for you alone to decide but it does not in no way reflect on the excellent service I received and the lovely pizza I enjoyed. My only complaint is the seating is absolutely rock hard. Whether you choose a bench or individual seat. They really need some cushions. That's literally the only constructive criticism. And something easily rectified.

Me and my girlfriend, who for the record doesn’t usually like pizza. Shared the No.7 pizza. She thoroughly enjoyed it! As did I (serving suggestion, enjoy with the complimentary olive oil!) the kitchen staff are definitely very educated. The service was brilliant, our server was very quick and attentive. Atmosphere in the late afternoon is great. Highly recommended

Love this place, and have to say, sourdough pizza was not on my 2025 list of "things I never knew I needed". Good food and drinks, and the servers were great - turned a good time into a great time. The bruschetta with goats cheese was excellent, as a recommendation.

I had a fantastic experience at Franco Manca! The sourdough pizza lived up to the hype — light, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with that wood-fired crust. A big thanks to Robin for the excellent pizza recommendation! He suggested a combination I wouldn’t have picked myself, and it turned out to be one of the best vegetarian pizzas I have ever had. Came for the opening night, both staff and food could not better. Was seated immediately and welcomed by friendly staff who were very attentive the whole night. Michele especially was very helpful in explaining and recommending dishes and overall a credit to the restaurant. Will definitely be back, had an amazing night thank you! :)

Food- authentic Italian taste, the dough is perfect. It brought me back to Italy. Service- all the staff and managers were great. Fast service and smiley faces. Atmosphere- I love the vibe in here. And the fact you can see the big pizza oven is so amazing. I am definitely coming back and tell my friends to try.

Loved the place, ordered a salad and pizza, and both were made with love. The pizza was not over cooked, the pizza was easily cut and tasted like an authentic Italian pizza. The salad was extremely tasty, and the staff were outstanding, especially the young Asian lady and the young chef. The place was very clean. Definitely recommend
